Need the look of the Far East without leaving the states? The Palace is your answer. Commonly referred to as “America’s Taj Mahal,” The Palace was built by monastic volunteers. The 22-karat gold, 8,000 square foot palatial dwelling contains crystal chandeliers, thirty-one stained-glass windows, mirrored ceilings, marbled floors, polished marble inlaid walls, a 4,200 piece crystal ceiling under a massive 30-ton dome, and painted ceiling murals depicting ancient classics. All the furniture is carved teakwood from India. The 3,000 acre grounds include sensational gardens, manmade lakes, and dozens of fountains. A privately owned facility, requests for use must be made well in advance.
